KOKKINI HANI

Just 500 m from the hotel, the village Kokkini Hani offers a selection of traditional tavernas and cafes overlooking the sea as well as a modern shopping center.

HERAKLION

The city offers a variety of archeological sites worth visiting and is also famous for its nightlife, with a wide selection of restaurants and bars.

THE MINOAN PALACE OF KNOSSOS

The famous Minoan Palace of Knossos and the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, one of the richest museums in Greece hosting a priceless collection of findings, are located at a distance of 12 km from the hotel.

AGARATHOS MONASTERY

Reported in documents and books from the 16th century including a manuscript of the British Museum dated in 1559 Agarathos is one of the oldest monasteries in Crete.

Located on the north-western part of the former American Base of Gournes, together with the research institutions of HCMR it forms THALASSOKOSMOS – the largest centre for marine science and promotion of the Mediterranean sea world.
