Swell restaurant has just opened its doors at the magnificent beach of Knossos Beach Bungalows & Suites at Kokkini Hani, Heraklion, Crete. Swell ambience is relaxed elegance. Modern architecture blended nicely with classic furniture in light colors, opening up to a wide veranda on the beach front.
At Swell in collaboration with the renowned chef Leuteris Lazarou (one Michelin Star) we wish to offer our personal interpretation of Greek gourmet cuisine with an innovative gastronomic touch on traditional cooking methods using only the best products of Greece: Cretan extra virgin olive oil, cherry tomatoes from Santorini, etr. We look(ed) around Greece to discover regional tastes and new inspirations to blend them to the menu. Herbs and spices are used in imaginative ways with surprisingly positive results in well-appointed dishes.
Mastered by his side, the prominent young chefs, Michalis Kalavrinos and Yiannis Margaris prepare daily the recipes for your delight.
