Tamiolakis Estate
The Tamiolakis Estate is located in the village of Houdetsi, 25 km south of Heraklion. It lies about 15 km from the archaeological treasures of Knossos and 5 km from the 4000 years aged wine press in Vathipetro and the carven wine presses of Katalagari.
The Estate consists of an approximately 5 hectare organic vineyard and a small but modern winery. The ecosystem of the location is ideal for producing high quality grapes. The average height, the sloping vineyard, the northern orientation and the calcium-clay soils constitute a "terroir" ideal for viticulture.
Miliarakis Vineyard
Located 17 km South of the city of Heraklion at the village of Peza, the most important wine making place of the island of Crete. After 8 decades in the wine making the estate makes some of the finest wines of the island.
Boutari Vineyard
Fantaxometocho estate is surrounded by 70 acres of vineyards and situated within the Arhanes vine-growing region, a district producing "Appellation of Origin of High Quality" (V.Q.P.R.D.) wines. It lies on the road towards the village of Myrtia, birthplace of the famous Greek writer Kazantzakis and it is very close to the archeological site of Knossos.
Knossos Beach organises visits to the vineyard to stroll through the vines, learn about the art of winemaking, and taste exquisite Cretan wines.
